NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

 


                 National Youth Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda all over India in the educational institutes, schools, government organizations,s and NGOs with great enthusiasm and passion. Every year, the National Youth Day Celebration inspires the younger generation to come up with innovative ideas and plans to make India a developed nation.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
             Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January, 1863, Kolkata (earlier Calcutta).Vivekananda was called by the name Narendranath Datta.He was a spiritual leader and social reformer.He is an influential personality who is credited with enlightening the western world about Hinduism. He represented Hinduism in the Parliament of Religions in 1893 in Chicago and due to this an unknown monk of India suddenly leaped into fame. National Youth Day is observed on 12 January to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
